hELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

The queen is back, and damn does it feel gooooood! :)
I know I' ve been missing for the longest time and its all because of my stupid lao ah-pek computer screwing up yet again.

But guess what? It was the straw that broke the camel's back, so mom made up her mind to get us a spanking new computer( complete with Windows Vista) and a lap top for me!! Christmas has certainly came waaaay earlier for me this year alrite.

I've missed everyone! How are y'all? Call me soon k? I so wanna catch up with my sexy peeps. Tess, fix up the gathering already!
MENA remember next week we have sleep over HOR!
Jan, sherry, willy...when the hell are u free to meet up?! ARgh........

Yesterday was a very good day, considering it marked the end of my ADV dip course. I still cannot believe that my lecturer had totally forgotten about the oral presentation that SHE was supposed to preside over. The nerve..

She said I was a little technical, but what the hell. :) I'm just relieved that its all over, and I can be the blog addict that I was and still am.

OH by the way peeps, I'll be changing my blog add soon. do check back.

I'm being particularly dilligent today, so decided to cash in on that while im still feelin' it.

So here I give u, the NIGHTMARE before halloween 2006. LOL~

The original cast; Carmen and Sherry actually came to my place first to prepare before Vicki joined us later at the nearby Burger King. Vicki's dress was actually a part of Sherry's costume, but that vainpot deemed it 'Not Hot Enough'. Ah well..

The happy troopers outside Zouk. :)

On the way there, the inexplicable urge of wanting photowhore took over and hence the MRT became our impromptu photo opp. Heheh~

Cutesy Vicki and I hamming it up for the camera

Tall Carmen looks like she's trying to cast a spell on us 2 shorties.

They remind me of the PCD. the bevy of hotties; a Playboy Bunny, Retro Chick, and I think 2 kinky Devils. In comparison we look so innocent and cute la. >_<

One of the bouncers, dolled up like some psycho butcher. Notice that he's wearing a FINGER-PACIFIER?! and my kimono seems like its about to fall off! Now which is freakier? :P

The Amish entourage, us and some kinda genie guy.. a truly wacked-out combo indeed.

God. I adoreeee this mermaid; she has a amazing figure to boot and LASHES that make Maybelline mascara commercials look all meek and insignificant. Note to self: investment in eyelash extensions will go a loooong way (pun totally intended)

All of us again, with a gorgeous new fren Zynthia. Loved her outfit tho i tot it was one of the sweltering ones, save for a Goth in a golden ball gown who had glided past us jus mins ago.

~~~~
I guess tht wasn't the end of our madness. hehe..It was just one of those days in Journalism class. As our lecturer happily droned on, we decided to spice things up here at the back rows. Natasha had generously sponsored a short stalk of a rose that she had picked up on le floors of Suntec City. We decided that Melvin, our model of the day had dull and uninspired hair.
So it was us to the rescue! look, the wonders floral do for a face. ^^
Mel sporting a 'romantic latino' look. Perfect for a night about town...or simply mortifying the bejesus outta the guy sitting next to you.
Ever the natural, he adds victory signs to finish the look. HAHA!
After class, I was gonna suss out stuff for the pressies for my 1 year anniversary so I grabbed Nat and we trooped down to Orchard. Here we are at Zara trying out the new collection. Velvet aint my choice of clothing but Nat insists that we look smashing. Hmms.. I might actually have to agree, no? ;)
Its been THAT long already?
RECAP:
Once upon a time, a boy named justin fell in love with a loud mouth girl called june, who had rudely interrupted a his conversation with a fren during the first day of school.
ANIME apparently was their common denominator, and they hit it of from there.
Then they started courting. Knowing that chocolate was june's weakness, he arranged for their very first date at Max Brenner's, a popular fondue joint.
ALAS. Being the lovable sotong that he was, he din know that was only a dessert and hence the couple had to starve all the way back to her place...till he mom took pity and cooked some instant mee goreng for both.
*collective sigh pls*
Oh where was i? AHEM.
After survivng some severe miscommunication, a half-hearted fling and more incorrigible stubborness, he FINALLY plucked enough courage to kiss (more like attack lol) the girl in the cinema during Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Said girl had floundered in the dark for a few damned minutes before finally getting the hang of it.
I guess the rest was as they say...history.
24th Nov. (strangely is Thanksgiving Day! OMG)
After a gazillion squabbles and bickering, crazy escapades, and funny moments, not forgetting the steamy making-outs...
HAPPY 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY, BABY!
All the unforgettable memories, the stormy moments and the incredible joy and understanding that you've given me. Words cannot even begin to convey the depth of love and gratitude i have for you. You were more than just a best friend/confidante and pillar of strength.
My soulmate. I love u darling buttercup baby.
Its still gonna be a pretty long journey from here on...
But we'll make it to the the other end of the rainbow together. :) <3
Hurray to the end of my exams and pre-christmas sales!(im faking the ethusiasm haha.)
Not to mention... a glorious Saturday whereby my darling maternal unit is off to ty-tyland(Thailand) for a couple of days. Herald in my temporary lease of sanity,boys.
Sleepovers, anyone? ^^
WHAT is with me and procrastination?!
I know, i know. Beyond over-dued for the Halloween report.
In a proverbial nutcase, it was a mind-fucking blast with Sherry, Vicki, and her brother. Shan't launch into a long-winded tirade of how someone had stood me up and not bothered to call, and the anticipated last-min backouts. You know who u are.
Zouk has certainly lived up to its name for its Halloween parties.
The crowd was F.U.N and all so accomodating, hence the abundance of camwhoring with funky dressed-up strangers. Also made quite a few new friends, and needless to say... the necessary eyecandy to draw us into the heart-pumping rythmn and avant-garde ambience of it all.
A few worthy mentions where this hugeeee ass Koala bear wearing a shirt with Steve Irwin's pic,(note: Sherry COULD NT resist smacking its head so it went dancing on dancing with its head riccocheting back and forth:P), a pretty retro mermaid with 5 inch long lashes, a Chinese Emperor and my personal fave, a seemingly demure geisha who was actually an ang-moh guy with a knack for dirty dancing with his fan.
I simply can't wait for next year.
photos to come next entry! till then...Au revoir~
hey homies, contrary to popular belief; i'm not dead.
Was just insanely busy the whole week with busloads of projects. >_<
Well, actually 3 to be exact but its not the quantity but the standards that matter. I truly hate Jalani aka bitchy lecturer, but i'm sincerely glad that he is now a figment of the past.
Amen, amen.
SO, that calls for a celebration. :)
The boyfren and I recently went to the Hidden Faces: A Japanese masks exhibition for some artsy fartsy enrichment. I had reservations, since it was my first trip to a museum in a very long time but what awaited was a pleasant surprise.
Soft music played overhead as we strolled down aisle upon aisles of masks, which dated as early as the Heinan period to these modern times. I've to say the making of the them is no mean feat and is impeccable to an impossible extent.
My fave was one of a widely grinning old man of a well toldfolklore, tho the Noh masks were kinda creeping me out. But all in all, it was a great experience and in fact, the Cartier exhibition is in town and i'm looking forward to it bigtime.
Outfitter Girls are having a sale, and I got myself a plummish halter which the boyfren is so gonna ban me from wearing cos of the extreme cutting.
Ah well, he doesn't have to know, does he? ;) Since most of their tops and bottoms are ridiculously over-priced, this is a pretty good time to stock up. I also have my eye on this vintage-ish necklace. Its sorta rugged silver chain with some orange/white mineral pendant in shape of a goldfish.
Somehow it reminded me of Domino the movie, Keira Knightley as the legendary bounty hunter. She had a tattoo of a Jap goldfish. I like but... I dunno, 38 bucks for an acessory?
Do u think i shld splurge?
btw, K-fed is just vile beyond words. He is just up there with Steven Lim on my Top 10 Losers list. Spiderman 3 is on the way to our screens, and while I adore the X-men trilogies...Im really not sure if i can tahan yet another comic book movie adaption. Come'on.. IRONMAN?!!
I'll ask someone to shoot me for real.
